This study determined the level of disaster nursing knowledge and disaster response competence among fourth-year nursing students at St. Dominic Savio College as the basis for a proposed Disaster Preparedness Enhancement Program. It used a quantitative descriptive-correlational research design involving 50 fourth-year nursing students selected through total enumeration sampling. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire covering disaster nursing knowledge, training, awareness, and disaster response competence in terms of skills, decision-making, confidence, and role performance. The findings showed that students had high levels of disaster nursing knowledge and disaster response competence. A positive relationship was also found between knowledge and competence, suggesting that increased knowledge contributes to stronger practical skills and confidence. The proposed enhancement program focuses on increased simulation exposure, strengthened decision-making training, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
